  22. I am trying to transfer a client's data files from a PDP-11 to a Windows
  23. 95 machine through Kermit software Kermit-11 on the PDP-11 and Kermit95
  24. on the Win95 machine through a serial terminal line.

  26. I have successfully transfered text files to and from the PDP-11 and
  27. Win95 machine on occassion.  Meaning that sometimes it works and
  28. sometime it don't (the same darn file.)  When it doesn't work the error
  29. goes from rejected type to rejected name for the text file transfer.

  31. I have the the following settings:

  33.         FILE TYPE  = BINARY
  34.         TRANSFER MODE = MANUAL
  35.  
  36. Questions:
  37.  
  38. 1.  Are there other settings beside the default settings that I should
  39. be looking at?
  40. 2.  Are there any nuances between Kermit-11 and C-Kermit (Kermit95)?
